Cookie Policy
What cookies and browser storage langlisto uses and how to manage them.
This English text is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version published on this website prevails.
1. What this is
1.1. Cookies are small text files a website stores in the browser. Browser local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) is a similar mechanism for storing data on the user’s device. This policy describes how they are used by the langlisto service (langlisto.com, app.langlisto.com and subdomains; the “Service”).
2. What the Service uses
2.1. Cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| ll_utm | Remembers the advertising campaign tag the visitor arrived from, so the source can be attributed on registration (campaign effectiveness statistics) | 90 days |
2.2. Browser local storage (kept on the device until sign-out or browser data clearing): the account sign-in token (authorization); the color theme; the interface language; video call device preferences (selected camera/microphone); service marks needed for the application to work correctly (for example, the last-seen chat message mark, protection against a stale page version).
2.3. Error reports. An error monitoring service (Sentry) is used to diagnose interface failures: when a failure occurs, technical details are sent (browser and device type, page address, error description).
3. What the Service does not use
3.1. The Service does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics counters, or social network pixels.
4. Managing cookies
4.1. The user can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in the browser settings. Note: without local storage, signing in and some Service features will not work; blocking ll_utm does not affect the Service.
5. Changes and contacts
5.1. A new edition of this policy is published on this page with its date. Questions: support@langlisto.com.
